Renowned Urbanists Reid Ewing and Dr. Arthur C. Nelson to Speak at CNU 21
CNU is excited to announce Reid Ewing and Dr. Arthur C. Nelson will be appearing at CNU 21.
Ewing is a Professor of City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah, associate editor of the Journal of the American Planning Association, columnist for Planning magazine, Fellow of the Urban Land Institute, and member of the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED LP- Technical Advisory group. At CNU 21, he will present a new methodology to more accurately predict the traffic impacts of mixed use developments. This will likely mitigate the current practice of overstating potential roadway impacts and understating the traffic benefits of mixed use developments.
Dr. Arthur C. Nelson is the Executive Director of the Metropolitan Research Center, Adjunct Professor of Finance, and Co-Director of the Master of Real Estate Development program at the University of Utah. Dr. Nelson will give us insight into the future of metropolitan areas by showing how economic, demographic, and preference changes are reshaping the housing market.
Mark your calendars now and join Ewing, Nelson and CNU in Salt Lake City, May 29-June 1 for CNU 21!
